Holisitc health by definition is a wellness integration of mind, body and spirit. But if we were to define it in a much simpler word, it is your body as a WHOLE. Why you might ask? Our bodies are capable of surviving against all odds all by itself in the best way possible. In short, it knows what it is supposed to do. However, with the present-day interventions, toxic environments have led to the body being compromised, much to an extent where it is lost and unable to adapt to the rapid changes around it. The situation gets worse when one is in pain or feels uneasy and none of the medical test reports are able to identify the cause of the discomfort and the condition goes undiagnosed. A certain person would say “live with it” due to lack of solutions or because of how focused and one-directional their approach was. That need not necessarily mean that there is no solution at all. It probably means that you might have to consider other approaches that could offer a better judgement and perspective to help get better.
Holistic is often mistaken as being spiritual. But in reality, it is about considering every factor in one’s life to understand the cause of the situation and making an informed choice of the lifestyle one leads to gain optimal health.
As per reports from National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health and the Journal of the Medical American Association there has been a significant rise in the use of complementary health approaches.
Holisitc healing has been around for centuries and makes use of ancient techniques which were used by our ancestors for survival. However, with the changing times, the treatments have been adapted and modernized for our present-day situations for us to align ourselves. The most common treatments that I have come across and that have been effective in practice are nutrition, homeopathy, osteopathy, chiropractic, energy healing, traditional Chinese medicine and naturopathy. On certain occasions a single treatment alone would be sufficient but long-standing chronic cases may require multiple treatments to get better results.
“Homeopathy is an essence of life”
as said by an internationally renowned homeopath, Jan Scholten.
As Jan Scholten metaphorically says, it’s a company cleaning encode, which means expelling the bad things from your body and to revitalize and rejuvenate it.
